Verra Health ("Verra Health," "we," "us") is a personal health-advocacy tool operated by MadApps Studios, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Verra Health to protect your information, not to profit from it. We do not sell your personal data, and we never share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email, and password (passwords are stored securely and never visible to us).
Health information you add — records, visits, medications, conditions, lab results, insurance coverage, claims, and documents or photos you choose to upload (such as an insurance card).
Contact information — your mobile phone number, if you choose to enable text reminders.
Usage information — basic technical data needed to operate and secure the app.

How we use your information

To provide the app's features: visit summaries, appeals, billing review, records, and reminders.
To send you the notifications you opt into, including SMS reminders.
To secure your account and prevent abuse.

SMS / text message program

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Verra Health related to your care — medication reminders, appointment alerts, and account notifications.

Opt in: You enable texts by adding your number in the app. We only text you after you ask us to.
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your reminders and activity.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.
Privacy: Mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. SMS consent is not shared with third parties except the carrier/messaging provider needed to deliver your messages.

How we share information

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the app (such as secure cloud hosting and the messaging provider that delivers your texts), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data.

Your choices and rights

Access, correct, or delete your information at any time from within the app.
Turn off text reminders by replying STOP or removing your number.
Delete your account, which removes your personal data from our active systems.

Data security

We use industry-standard security, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, and audit logging, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your data is core to what we do.

Breach notification

In the event of a data breach or security incident that affects your personal or health information, we will notify affected users without undue delay, and in accordance with applicable law. Our notice will describe, to the extent known, what happened, what information was involved, and the steps you and we are taking in response.

Your data, your control

You may delete your account and your information at any time from within the app. When you delete your account or revoke a connected data source, we remove your associated records — including any records imported from connected providers — from our active systems.

Children

Verra Health is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
